When people think of Las Vegas they may think of shows that are aimed at adults and casino attractions that are not suitable for kids.

You might even think that this isn’t really a good place to take your children, but that’s definitely not true. There is a lot that you can do when you’re in Las Vegas, even if you are there with children.

Family Friendly Things To Do in Las Vegas with Kids

Let’s explore some of the things that you can do when you take the kids to Vegas. As long as you stay off the Strip in busy times and think carefully about the activities you want to do then there’s every opportunity to have fun with your little ones.

Kid-friendly Shows

Las Vegas is one of the best places in the whole world to go and take in a show. There are many shows that are great for kids including magic shows and even family-friendly circus style shows. Remember to try and book your Las Vegas show tickets in advance as a lot of them sell out very quickly.

The Adventuredome

The Adventuredome is built with the whole family in mind. For kids, it includes indoor rides, mini-golf, arcade games and even movies to show. The Adventuredome makes a great day out and is a good way to tire the kids out doing some fun activities.

Shark Reef Aquarium

100 sharks, an amazing aquarium, a man-made beach and more, this is an amazing day out for the whole family. The highlight is an underground tunnel so you can walk through and see the sharks and other sea life in front of you.

Ethel M Chocolate Factory

What kids don’t love a visit to a chocolate factory? At Ethel M Chocolate factory you can take in the sights and smells, enjoy the cafe or even watch production from an observation area. It can be very tempting to take lots of the produce away with you, of course, and the chocolate is absolutely delicious.

Las Vegas High Roller Observation Wheel

Want to see the whole of Vegas? The observation wheel can take you right to the top of the city with a viewpoint over pretty much everything the city has to offer, and views you simply won’t forget any time soon.

Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.

This can be amazing for kids who love the Marvel films. Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is an interactive experience where kids can visit some of their favorite film characters. It’s a great photo op as kids can have their picture taken at a variety of spot with some of their favorite Marvel stars.

Las Vegas Indoor Skydiving

Indoor skydiving gives you an incredible experience that you’ll always remember, simulating the conditions of a skydive while you’re visiting the city. Kids can take part so this is even one of the top fun summer birthday party ideas for adults and kids, but it is vital you ensure your kids are at least 40lbs or they won’t be able to get involved.

Free Attractions on The Strip

There is a lot to see on the Las Vegas Strip. Even just walking down the strip can be classed as an activity as you are likely to see a lot of different interesting sights and things you are used to seeing in the movies, such as the fountains at the Bellagio.

The Strip itself is definitely something to experience when you are there, but there is always a lot going on and it is a good idea to go during the day with your children before it gets a little wilder at night. Keep your wits about you at all times to make sure you keep everyone safe, and stay off the Strip at night.

Discovery Children’s Museum

The Discovery Children’s Museum is as you would expect it to be, full of fun and, well…discovery.

There are so many hands-on and interactive things to do for children at the museum, which is open during the day on every day of the week, perfect for visiting in the mornings, and the tickets are pretty affordable too. From time-to-time, the Children’s Museum also features specific themed months and events.

It’s great to be able to help your children to learn something while you are away, too.

M&M’s World

Who wouldn’t want to explore 28,000 square feet of chocolate? This is an amazing facility that is built to be an experience rather than just a store. You can take part in some activities and even choose to print your own design on some M&Ms. This is a fun and delicious treat for the family and a wholesome Las Vegas activity.
